Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the One M9s to your PC via USB
- Drag the “Status” bar down and make sure the connection is set to “Media device (MTP)” or “disk drive”
- Launch an Explorer window on the PC
- Locate the desired audio files on the computer and copy them
- Navigate to the phone storage and transfer the audio files, preferably in the “Media” directory (under “Ringtones” and “Notifications”)
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Personalize” > “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s memory.
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “People”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Apply” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Tap “Sound & notifications”
- Tap “Notification sound”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “Apply”
