Sorry, I don't own a Dash, so I wouldn't be able to answer. I'm more familiar with PPCs. But doesn't it go into standby after staying idle for a little bit?

yeah, i've got it set to auto-lock if it's set down for a minute, but i just started using a BT earpiece and i want to lock my phone after i dial a number so i can place it back in it's case w/o having to worry about buttons being, inadvertantly, pressed.
