HTC touch

hi guyz,my uncle wants to send me the htc touch from the middle east.will it be compatable here in the usa with the service providers like t-mobile and at&t? or does it have to be unlocked,if it isnt unlocked how do i do it?will i be able to have internet access aswell is it is compatable.please help.i am really in love with this phone.and i want it

An HTC-branded GSM Touch should work fine in the USA, using either Tmobile or AT&T. Although it is officially tri-band, it has been verified to be actually quad-band. EDGE data should work also.

But you may wish to wait for the Sprint Touch, debuting in early November. It will be a better device than the GSM Touch, with faster CPU, more memory and 3G/EVDO data -- provided you're okay with service on Sprint...

i rather have an unlocked version.as far as the processor i am not concerned since i have read with a 3rd party tool ppl have been able to clock the 200mhz proc to 300mhz.but im still going to have less ram.and plus its a gift,and its already been sent to me i should be getting it in a few days..what i would really like help with now is where can i find the full screen keyboard
