A friend of mine was looking for a cell phone and he came across the htc touch dual. he liked it so he started talkin to this guy who owns a website phone company that is sellin the touch dual. my friend has sprint and he asked if it would work with sprint. the guy said its compleatly unlocked and specifically said it would work with sprint. if not, theres 3 months to get money back he also mention. what im wondering is if its possible for a phone to be compleatly unlocked to work with any network pretty much like betweeen gsm and cdma. i was looking at the specs of this phone and it said it had something like wcdma, but i wasnt sure if that applied to the network. so far the phone has been stuck at customs because the company that actually shipped the phone out (not the website company) didnt go through customs, so it was stopped. he sent a moneygram yesterday and it should ship soon. i was curious because hes actually getting 2 because of the wait he had to go through and hes selling me one. again we both have sprint but can a phone be compleatly unlocked, or is the htc touch different because of the wcdma thing?
