Re: need help choosing between htc 6800 & touch
I currently have the 6800 and am happy with it overall.
1) It has wifi which the touch doesnt have.
At times i do find it slowing down because i have alot of programs running...
2) websites such as freewarepocketpc.net are amazing with free software.
So over all a great phone for all your needs.I LOVE TO HELP!

It will take you forever to get used to type with the touch since it does not have a keyboard. I was messing with it the other day and believe me naming it the "TOUCH" was a bad idea, try touching the applications, its difficult, so you pretty much will use the stylus all the time, might as well go for the MOGUL.

Re: need help choosing between htc 6800 & touch
While it should be quick to learn how to type and navigate on the Touch I think it comes down to a couple factors.
How important is wifi to you
How important is it for you to have a hardware keyboard

Re: need help choosing between htc 6800 & touch
I don't know anything about the 6800, but i love my touch. I rarely have to use the stylus, so i don't know, maybe the phone just didn't like you, iden364 lol. It didn't take me long to get used to the texting either.. You can use either a keyboard similiar to that on a blackberry (where each button represents 2 letters on a qwerty style key layout) or you can text with a cell phone style key layout, or a regular keyboard layout. It also has a transcriber where you can print or cursive write almost anything and it works surprisingly well if you can write legibly lol.
It's also got a cool TouchCube as the call it (I think) with a picture-touch speed dial, quicklaunch thing and another launcher thing for Music/Videos/Pictures. The navigating is really cool.
I don't know, i just thought i'd share some of the things i like about my touch lol
