Hey, i'm new to the forums, but i've been lurking around.
I'm getting ready to buy a new phone, well not new, it'll be used, but new to me. And i'm mostly decided about a T-Mobile Wing, but i've seen some good remarks about the HTC 8525, and i wanted to know from those of you here, which one is the better phone? or any major reasons why i should choose one over the other?

Re: Wing vs 8525
i personally preferred Wing. Though i heard it is not as capable as the 8525, but is more stylish

Re: Wing vs 8525
As far as being more capable. Anything you ever want to do for any phone, there is always 3rd party software for it. Remember that. You can even overclock the wing to make it faster.
I have a Wing and so does my girlfriend. We both love them. She put her brand new sidekick after only 3wks of use in the closet for the wing.
Another thing to remember, on a windows mobile phone, create your own ringtones for free and backgrounds for free.
I love my wing.

Re: Wing vs 8525
I have a wing and I love it. I just upgraded my companies exchange servers so I can use all of the cool features. The only minor inconvience my wing gives me is that when I try to use the camera, I usually get a memory popup. I just have to reset the phone to clear all of the stuff out. Even though no programs are running.
I still would not give up my wing.

Good Luck.

Hey gistexan, Have you tried the tutorial on xda-developers. They have a tutorial called, "things to really make your wing fly'" that might help you with your memory problems. It helped my with my memory and speed problems.
