The HTC Touch Diamond2 features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, though there is still no flash. Photos come out pretty good when there is a lot of light available, with natural colors and plenty of detail. Indoor shots are rather dark, as you might expect, but tinkering with the brightness and white balance helped improve this slightly.

Video quality is average, videos are recorded in VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels) and saved as MPEG4s. There are various options in the video menu too, including brightness and white balance.

Web browsing on the HTC Touch Diamond2 gives a very pleasant experience, thanks to HTC's new feature called 'Push Internet'. This feature allows you to set a handful of your favorite web pages to automatically download at preset intervals, so that they are almost instantly displayed when selected from the 'Internet' pane of the TouchFLO 3D interface. This feature works very well indeed, and displays a note on the page to say when it was last updated. The pages takes a few seconds to load, but are shown far quicker than they would if they had to be downloaded on the spot.
