HTC took over Dopod. HTC products are sold under several brand names — HTC, Dopod (HTC's subsidiary company) and Qtek. More details on msmobiles.com - HTC takes over Dopod officially - another distributor owned directly by HTC after Qtek - a danger for i-mate ? and

Yes, they are the same company. Usually the brand of their phone named HTC. And I'm using diamond 2. Their phones look nice.
