This will allow you to connect your
HTC Touch Pro2 to your computer using its wifi connection. In essence it makes your phone a wireless router.
Use the below at your own risk. CPF is not responsible for extra data charges you may incur. - Download this file to your phone (either open it up in browser or put it on sd card):
http://files.cellphoneforums.net/fil...haring_VGA.cab - Go to Start > Comm Manager - turn Wifi off if it is on
- Run the .cab file
- Go to Start > All Applications > CM Internet Sharing
- Confirm settings (change the name or wep key if you want)
- Click Start in the lower right
- Follow the on screen instructions
Now you should be able to connect to your phone like you would a wireless router.
Do not download an excessive amount of data with this connection. You will raise a flag and your service provider will charge you for it!
This was tested on a Verizon Touch Pro2, but should also work on the Sprint version
