News: HTC spring loaded clamshell phone

HTC is famous for their unique styles of phones and the concept shown in the picture above is no exception. The clamshell device works something like an LG evV but opens by sliding the top layer down just a few millemeters therefore springing open.

The spring loaded device works when break the connection with the magnets by sliding the top half down, in which both top and bottom half of the phone contains the magnets. This is what holds it closed therefore letting the phone to spring open.
