    DROID Eris is finally getting the Android 2.1 update that Verizon has been promising. Verizon has reported that it may take a few days for everyone to receive the update but it is happening as some have already begun to get the update.

    The Android 2.1 update will bring features such as wallpapers, voice typing as well as a new 3D app launcher.
