Hi. I just bought the HTC tilt 8925. It has both 3g and wireless. I don't want to use 3g. I bought the phone unlocked so that I would not have to pay for a data plan.

From what I have read on the internet, if I use wireless then I should not be charged by ATT. Is that correct? If I connect my phone wireless to my internet at home, I should not be charged anything from ATT for data. It should work just like a laptop connecting to wireless I think. Is that correct?

My second question is how do you DISABLE 3G? Once again, I do not want to be charged anything for using the internet on my phone.
