News: HTC Legend to get Froyo update

It was never mentioned in any announcement or leaks, but HTC will be updating the HTC Legend to Froyo update in the next coming weeks, according to an update that was published on Facebook. It seems after all the upsets and aggravations from HTC Legend customers, HTC is finally providing the Froyo update.

As you can see, HTC said it would be happening in "the coming weeks" but no set date was given. The Froyo update will be for those unlocked/branded devices. Also mentioned was that certain carriers of the phone will receive the update a little later than those who sell the HTC Legend SIM free and unlocked.
