News: HTC Desire Z launches next week in India

We have heard and knew that HTC would launch the HTC Desire Z in India but didn't really have an exact time. Now, Flipkart, an online retailer, allows you to pre-order the HTC Desire Z for a price of 25,799 INR ($575).

Flipkart is saying that they will ship the HTC Desire Z on January 3, which is just next week, so all those in India who are waiting for the Desire Z, will have to wait not much longer.

A run down on the features for the HTC Desire Z for India include: Android 2.2 (most likely upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread), sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 3.7 inch WVGA display, 5MP camera with auto focus , and an 800MHz Qualcomm processor.
