So my old HTC p4000 is functioning strangely...when i turn it on it shows the "welcome to telus" and then "windows mobile" screens, but nothing else. the screen then turns off and i can't turn it on (so basically i can't do anything on my phone). restarting it didn't help.
Anybody have any idea how i can reset it? will give you my measly reps for life if you help me fix it

You will need to do a hard reset. Then you will need to reload all of your information.
For the HTC Titan (Verizon XV6800 | Bell HTC 6800 | Sprint Mogul PPC-6800 | HTC P4000)
To perform a hard reset
1.Press and hold the left soft key and the right soft key simultaneously.
2.While holding the left and right soft keys, use the stylus to gently press and release the reset button.
3.When prompted, press the R key on the QWERTY keypad to reset the device.
4.When prompted, press Space on the QWERTY keypad to restart the device.

Hope this helps!
