SkyDrive is an online storage service that allows you to upload and access photos and documents on-the-go.

Signing In to SkyDrive Using Your Microsoft Account:

  1. Open the notifications panel by swiping down on the screen
  2. Tap the "Settings" icon > "Accounts & sync"
  3. Tap "+" and press "SkyDrive for HTC Sense"
  4. Follow any on-screen instructions in order to create a new Microsoft account or signing in to an existing one

Uploading Photos to SkyDrive via Gallery:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
  2. Browse for and select "Gallery"
  3. Tap the album containing the desired photos
  4. Tap "Share" and select "SkyDrive for HTC Sense"
  5. Select the photo(s) that you wish to upload, and then touch "Next"
  6. Choose a folder in SkyDrive and press "Done"

Sending Links to SkyDrive Files via Email:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "apps" icon
  2. Open "Mail" and select the desired email account, assuming that you have more than one
  3. Create a new email message or reply to an existing one
  4. Edit the email as you desire and then:
    • Tap "Attach" > "Document" to select a document type
    • Tap "Attach" > "File" to choose any file type
  5. Select "SkyDrive"
  6. Open the folder containing the desired files, then select the ones that you wish to share
  7. Tap "Done" and press "Send"

Saving an Office Document to SkyDrive:

  1. From the home screen, tap "apps" and open "Polaris Office"
  2. Open an existing document or create a new one
  3. Tap the "menu" icon (depicted as three vertical dots), then tap "File" > "Save as"
  4. Type in a new filename
  5. Tap the icon depicting an arrow / triangle pointing downwards and tap "SkyDrive"
  6. Press "Save"

Editing an Office Document in SkyDrive:

  1. Tap "Apps" on the home screen and open "Polaris Office"
  2. Tap "SkyDrive"
  3. Open the folder containing the document that you wish to edit
  4. Select the document that you wish to open
  5. Tap "Edit" to start making the necessary changes
  6. Once the editing process is complete, tap "menu" > "File"
  7. Save and overwrite the document, or save it as a new file in SkyDrive
