Verizon will be big, but there will still be three other major competitors -- AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. What I'm wondering is if AT&T or Sprint will counter with acquisitions of their own.

If this really happens, will all device's currently only available to each carrier, become available to all Verizon/Alltel customer's?

Will the Alltel name be a thing of the past?

Will Verizon keep both carrier's seperate?
