Re: Sprint to Acquire Virgin Mobile USA

    Hey.
I heard Virgin Mobile is offering a $10 120minute welfare deal..?
    Whats up with that?
Hopefully sprint will bring back virgin's cool factor... That's why I signed up with them in the first place.
I don't want people thinking I'm cheap when I take my virgin phone out my pocket!
What does everyone else think about this?

First off, don't worry about what other people think. You go with what works for you.

As for the deal; sounds like a hell of a deal.

well boss dragon, you get on that deal if you qualify for welfare.

and every human in this world cares about what other people think, to some degree. obviously you are the exception. with a name like "boss dragon" i suppose you must not care what other people think. it must "work for you"

Re: Sprint to Acquire Virgin Mobile USA

Looks like the proposed $483 million deal between Sprint and Virgin Mobile is a trend. Recently American Movil the Mexico-based company that owns TracFone signed a deal with Verizon to use the Verizon network for TracFone's new StraightTalk prepaid plan. StraightTalk is knocking the wind out of the competition's sails with unlimited calls, texts and 30 mb of web for $45 a month. What gives StraightTalk the edge over Boost, Virgin and Metro PCS is that it runs on Verizon's coast to coast network. Sprint and Virgin Mobile are going to have to come a long way to beat that kind of coverage.

True, Jap24, It does seem that safelink has the advantage and should take this one, especially with the main competition, Virgin, giving their phones away to the homeless..
