Simple "beep" ringtone

I've been searching the web for a simple, single "beep" ringtone in mmf
format for my Samsung SGH-Z510 mobile phone.

All I can find is music files to download.

I'm just an old-fashioned business user who just wants a simple "beep" alert
when a text message arrives. I don't want my phone to play a symphony or
emit some other animated sound. I just want a simple businesslike "beep".
Why is this not an option on such an advanced phone???

Can anyone help me find such a tone?

Thanks Rick.

I tried to download the letter "E" (one beep in Morse!) but unfortunately
the .midi file doesn't appear to be recognized by my phone. All the default
ringtones in the phone's menu are in .mmf format so I guess I can only use
..mmf ringtones. :-(

I haven't used it, but it looks good

I know you have one and I don't, but according to most of the WWW sites I've
just browsed, the Samsung SGH-Z510 can use .mp3, midi and mmf files for
ringtones. If that is the case then you have a vast amount of tones
available for free. Audacity is quite good for editing/creating .mp3 tones,
needs LAME encoder as well and both are free. I use that combination for
taking snippets off my audio CDs and use /mp3s on the Nokia and Moto 'phones
I have.
