Nokia 8310

Wondered if anyone can help. I have a Nokia 8310 that boots up fine and has
a good signal, but when trying to dial out it bleeps and displays "End
Call?" I've been through all the security settings and all seems fine. If I
ask for call barring status it displays "Result Unknown". It has a Virgin
Mobile sim card that works fine in my other phone. Could it be possible for
the phone to be blocked and not the sim carta?

I have the same problem mate...........................will keep my eye on
this one!!!!!

Yes, if it's been reported stolen or lost. Did you buy it second hand..?
Has it ever worked, with any SIM card..? Do you get a network name
displayed..? If not it's definitely been blacklisted.
