I heard that the iPhone requires returning to the factory to replace the built-in battery. Is this true? When returned, is the phone returned intact or are all the stored information deleted? Is this the only phone where the user can't replace the battery himself or are there others? What is the average charge for this service? How long approx. does the built-in battery last? I was thinking of getting one.
