You can transfer your data from the Lumia 830 to an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus using sync and various accounts, like Gmail or Exchange ActiveSync. The method below shows you how you can sync contacts, mails and calendars via Gmail.

Setting a Google Account on the Nokia Lumia 830:

  1. From the App list, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Email + accounts"
  3. Tap "Add an account" and select "Google". If necessary, tap "Connect"
  4. Type in your email address and password and tap "Sign in"
  5. Tap "Accept" to confirm. Your email, calendar and contacts should be synced

NOTE: If you wish to set up a Google Apps account, go to the phone's "Settings" menu and tap "Email + accounts" > "Add an account" > "Advanced setup". Enter your username and password and tap "Next" and make sure to tap "Exchange ActiveSync"

Sync Your Google Account with the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus:

  1. While viewing the iPhone's home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Swipe to and tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
  3. Swipe to "Accounts" and tap "Add account"
  4. Tap "Other"
  5. Tap "Add CardDAV Account" under "Contacts" to sync your Google contacts
  6. In the "Server" field, enter "google.com"
  7. Enter your Google account's username and password
  8. Type in the account's name in the "Description" field and tap "Next"
  9. Tap "Add account" to synchronize your Google Calendar and tap "Other"
  10. Under "Calendars", tap "Add CalDAV Account"
  11. Type in "google.com" in the "Server" field
  12. Enter your Gmail account's log in credentials in the appropriate fields
  13. Tap "Next"
  14. Choose to sync "Calendars" and / or "Reminders" by tapping the "On/Off" switches
  15. Tap "Save"
