I am looking for software so I can hook up to my PC. I would like to add ringtones and swap pictures in and out.
Anyone know where to find some? I have the data cable already. Need the drivers for the phone as well.
I'm not having much luck searching the web.

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
I have found some data cables for sale WITH the software. But I can't seem to get the software alone.
Anyone have a cd of the software?

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
It won't do any good to use the software. Verizon disables the OBEX (Object Exchange) protocol that is required to push data between the phone and your PC. the only way to add ringtones and wallpapers is to Pix Message them. There are sites that offer this service, such as Mobile17 ^^ :: Create Ringtones and Graphics: online, for free! or you can use your e-mail client by sending the file to [email protected] (make sure the file is no larger than 200Kb).

Old game review
Hello,
Star defender ( Buy Star Defender II free download of trial version, info and screenshots ) is a great game; anyone knows other games in the same style? I am specially interested in high quality remakes after old hits such as Galaga, Space Invaders, etc.... These games are great, and I would like to have as many of them as possible.

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
is there a specific size or bitrate or something, because i have tried several mp3 files emailed to my phone, in an attachment, varying from 40k to 190k and everytime i open it, it plays but all i can do when i press the options button is save it. there's no option to save as ringtone.

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
Same here. I have sent large and small .mp3 files but no luck. There is no save as ringtone option in any form. Just save to Sounds.
So back to the original topic... can anyone provide or point me to some USB drivers for this phone?
Bitpim may let me in to see the file structure and maybe I will figure it out from there.

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
In that case we will need to do a seem edit to enable OBEX transfers. All we need is someone familiar with the software that Verizon has used in the phone. My Razr got toasted last week and I've got my contacts backed up on my PC after hacking the phone. I need to get them on to the new phone when it arrives. I'm sure someone out there will come up with something.

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
To clarify:
with "datapilot" software and a cable connecting G'zOne V phone to USB , I can transfer data to/from PC including sounds, pix, vids, numbers?
Where can I get the 'datapilot" software?
(I have a data cable that fits the gzone V. already)

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
cont.
software and a cable connecting G'zOne V phone to USB , I can transfer data to/from PC including sounds, pix, vids, numbers? That is great, but I don't want to have to spend more money just to copy pix, vids, sounds, phone numbers, etc. to my computer.
Where can I get the 'datapilot" software? Is it free? I don't want to buy anything. All I want is the driver to connect phone to PC. Additional software is fine, but I don't want to have to pay extra. In fact, I think at least the driver should be provided by the manufacturer. I think selling a phone that takes video and pix, without a means to transfer other than sending each image and video, one at a time, for a $ FEE $ is wrong. If you buy a digi cam, it would have whatever is needed to transfer the pictures/video. Assuming that I want to send every picture and video that I have on the phone one by one by means of the wireless network and pay extra to do so rather than transfer all of it at once to my computer is so stupid it is insulting.
I can install Active Sync, it's part of Wndows. All I need is a driver...for G'zOne.
I had a GShock watch years ago. Loved it. I hope that Casio will offer some software upgrades for the phone. It has potential to be a great phone. It just needs a few changes that could all be done in SW.

Re: G'zOne TypeV software?
alex if you have verizon you have what is called a pix place this was free with my account not sure if all are the same but you have 72 file limit if you dont want to pay for it and you log in to verizon's website to move them from your site to the computer but like you i need a rapid means of doing this and thi8s is the simplest way i have found unless i can find a wya to hack the obex
