my friend got an iriver - it has a little color screen you can watch movies on and it has 40gig memory - seems like a cool lil device!

yeah, iriver's good.... some creatives like the zen micro are very good mp3 players as well... so would pick the micro over the mini

I bought a 256mb creative mp3 player. I dont need space for 1000+ songs, so i decided to save about a hundred bucks and buy that one. it really depends on how much space you need

i like the zen micro touch, it is awesome, its pretty cheapt too, comp usa had them for $200 bucks and free shipping for a 5gig, the thing i like about it is that the battery is replaceable by the user unlike ipod where they charge you$100 to replace it, onyl bad thing aobut zen micro is that there is no dedicated volume control so you will have to go all the way out to the menu screen to change volume but that isnt a big problem.

Its all dependant on what you need... I picked up a Nomad Jukebox 2 almost 2 years ago for $200, and its a 10 Gig... knowing that now.. I don't need all that darned space. I mean, its cool... but its just music and more music.
You need to decide if you want something small, or big, and storage space on the specific usage of your mp3 player
