During these past several weeks, there have been quite a few leaks and rumors concerning a new Motorola smartphone that is now expected to hit the market. I'm referring of course to the Moto G, also known as the Motorola DVX.

Fortunately, Motorola has now cleared out some of our questions regarding the device, specifically the date on which the company will lift the veil on the handset. As the title above suggests, Motorola will make the Moto G official on November 13. Moto has already sent out press invites, so everything is pretty much set in stone.

As for what you can expect from this particular gadget, truth be told, there are still many unknowns surrounding this smartphone. According to the rumors, the G will feature a 4.5 inch or a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280, a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked either at 1.2 GHz or 1.5 GHz, and a 5 MP or an 8 MP main camera. Yep, as I've said, there are still a lot of questions surrounding this device.

Gadget enthusiasts are also wondering whether or not the Moto G will arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Indeed, despite the mid-range nature of the handset, some rumors have suggested that Google might use the G as a demonstration on how well the latest Android OS can run on low-to-mid range smartphones. Oh the other hand, there have been rumors suggesting that the handset will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, so once again, not much is certain.

As far as pricing goes, chances are that the device will go on sale at the price of $250 off-contract, which might be quite an attractive price. Availability-wise, this affordable Motorola handset is expected to go on sale in a global scale, especially in emerging markets.

All in all, only time will tell what the G will have to offer, so take the rumors above with a grain of salt. Fortunately, these questions will be answered in less than 10 days from now.
