HTC One V available for pre-order at U.S. Cellular

In case you are planning to buy a low/mid-ranged smartphone from US Cellular then you're in for a treat as the carrier has just made the One V available for pre-purchase on their website. If however you would rather prefer to buy the handset from their stores fret not because in-store sales will begin this Friday.

The One V is definitely one of the best handsets from its category. It's evidently not as powerful as its bigger brothers, the One X or the One S, but it does come with some of the features found on the more costly handsets, including Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and the latest version of HTC Sense UI. Spec-wise the device comes with a 3.7 inch screen, a single-core 1 GHz processor, 512 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. It might not sound as much, but the handset manages to keep both ICS and Sense UI running smoothly.

All that for the price of $129.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Keep in mind however that this price-tag is only available alongside a contract with the carrier and only if you're a new customer.
