Hello... I currently have a Cricket prepaid phone but I'm going to go ahead and start a monthly plan with Cricket because I really want the Ascend 2.

Anyway, does anyone know if I can still keep my same phone number from my prepaid phone or will I have to get a brand new one?

    Thanks...

Re: Question about Cricket PAYgo phone #

I was wondering if you knew why when i went to the cricket store why they told me they couldn't activate or give me the same number i already had few years, thru normal cricket service. i brought in the cricket paygo phone unaware it was a paygo phone because it was a christmas present. The guy told me he couldn't activate it and i wouldn't be able to use my same number if i got it activated, this was very dissapointing to me because i have had the same number for years. the phone is a smartphone the samsung vitality, it made no sense why they were unable to help. i either want the phone to be used as a regular cricket phone or let me use my cricket phone number, if its all the same company there should be no reason i can't keep my number, right? thanks sorry for rambling its kinda late
