Dell Streak for O2 UK gets Android 2.2 Froyo this week

The Dell Streak with, O2 UK, will soon receive the Android 2.2 Froyo update sometime this week. This comes from and announcement made on Twitter and is great for those who have had the Android 1.6 or Android 2.1. And for those AT&T customers in the USA, your Dell Streak will receive the Android 2.2 Froyo next year, so the Froyo update for the Dell Streak will happen.

Details on the update are scarce, but once the update begins to roll out, we will keep you posted. The update should happen over the air in which the Dell Streak that O2 UK owners own will get a notification on their phone about an update.
