the wife just got this phone a few weeks ago and we are still learning it. one thing i want to know is if i enter my gmail account will the phone look like my chromebook looks when i go to google. i know the chromebooks do this when i log onto my email account the desktop changes to my desk top. i wonder it the phone will do the same thing?

If you sync your gmail with any android phone, it won't change the wallpaper or shortcut icons, but it will do everything on your gmail account, including syncing your contacts and using your Google account for the play store, chrome browsing history, etc. In other words, you shouldn't do it. I believe there's a way to use two different Google accounts on some phones, but I'm not sure about this one.
