Back Up Applications:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access Settings
- Swipe to Personal and tap Backup & reset
- To back up Wi-Fi passwords, settings, and account data to Googles servers, enable Back up my data
- To restore data automatically upon reinstalling apps, enable Automatic restore
NOTE: App data will be automatically restored once you log in with your Google account on the phone for the first time (example: after a fresh master reset).
Back Up Contacts:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Access Settings
- Tap Accounts and select an account type to store your contacts on
- Tap Menu > Sync now
NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your Google account (after a fresh reset). You can also allow the account to sync contacts with your device
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Alcatel OneTouch Conquest to your computer via USB
- Drag the Status bar down and enable Media sync (MTP)
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to browse the phones directories
- Locate the media files on your phone and transfer them in the desired backup location on your computers HDD
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
Restore Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Alcatel OneTouch Conquest to your computer via USB
- Ensure that Media Sync (MTP) is enabled in the notification area
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to browse the phones directories
- Open a second Explorer window and locate your backups
- Copy the backed up files and transfer them back on your phone (preferably the Media folder)
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it
