Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Use the USB-microUSB cable to connect the Maxwest device to your computer
- At the prompt, select Media device (MTP). Otherwise enable this option from the notification area
- On the computer, open the File Explorer and locate the desired audio files on your PC storage
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably under Media, in the Ringtones / Notification folder(s)
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
- Its now safe to disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone under Call ringtone & vibrate
- Select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change a Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card, or on the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the phones Settings menu
- Under Device, tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification sound under Sound
- Select the notification sound you wish to use
- Tap OK to set it
