I figured that an Easy To Find™ little guide for folks looking to play streaming video on the T-Mobile Wing would be a nice thing to have. People who have tried to look at Youtube on the Wing would find a great example of what is going on here: The Wing does not natively play RTSP format, since it only has Windows Media Player on it.
So, thankfully the fix is relatively simple. The Streaming Media Player included with several other HTC devices has been extracted for placement on the Wing as well.
Grab the cab installer from This Link (Located at http://www.mediafire.com/?wlwrzdsdvvf) and install.
It includes the necessary registry entries to link MIME types for streaming media to this and automatically open them in most cases. Then just Enjoy Streaming Stuff!
Edit: Updated to a new link. Anybody know a better free file host?

Re: Guide: T-Mobile Wing Streaming Video
I wouldn't post it unless I used it first. Sadly, most YouTube videos are NOT converted for phone viewing yet, but it's good for some things at least. Sadly, it seems to lack sound unless you have headphones plugged in.

Re: Guide: T-Mobile Wing Streaming Video
Erk.. The site it was at lost its domain registration. I'll see what I can do to rectify this situation as soon as I return from work.
I've moved a bit beyond just installing the cabs, I'll admit. Currently operating on a self-cooked rom, fixes a lot of problems, but WM 6.1 creates a few others (S2U2P does not operate properly on rings anymore). This is an important file though. I will hunt it back down and make it work for folks.

Re: Guide: T-Mobile Wing Streaming Video
For streaming Music, grab TCPMP (The Core Portable Media Player). Also allows you to watch movies that you record with the phone itself.
Haven't found a solution for FLV streaming sites though. No good flash support on WM6.x. There is Flash Lite, but it always locks up the phone on me.
