News: AT&T Android.. HTC Lancaster

AT&T is getting ready to launch a new Android handset and it's called the HTC Lancaster.

The HTC Lancaster is said to be launched August 3 of this year, but the device is still being worked on and Google Mobile Services UI is said to being tested. After AT&T puts their final touches on the device, it wouldn't be surprising if this delays the launch date. Some of the Specs of the HTC Lancaster are:

* QWERTY keyboard
* Tri-band EDGE with dual-band AT&T 3G
* 3 Megapixel camera
* GPS
* MicroSD
* ARM11 processor
* 2.8″ QVGA 240 x 320 touch display
* Unique HTC Social Messaging User Interface

Don't look for this phone on other carriers too awful soon, because AT&T just signed a 6 month agreement with HTC.
