Info: HTC Inspire 4G: need some help about the inside of this mobile

hi there everyone,

a friend of mine came to me and asked me if i could help him with his htc, because his screen didnt work. so i tried to strip down his phone, but when i tried to get the motherboard of his digitizer.. i made a small tear in the middle of the motherboard(i think its called rigid?)

now is my question.. does it still work if it connects normally with maybe tape or just like this?



please i hope someone here knows alot about this kind of stuff and could give me the correct anwser if this still works if it connects oke?
