Adding a New Contact:
- Access the "Contacts" app
- Go to the "People" tab and tap "+"
- In the "Name" field, type in the desired contact name
- Select the type of contact and enter any additional contact information as you see fit
- Tap "Save" when ready
Editing an Existing Contact:
- Access the "Contacts" app
- Go to the "People" tab
- Press and hold the desired contact and then tap "Edit contact"
- Make the necessary changes and then tap "Save"
Importing or Copying Contacts From the SIM Card:
- Access the "Contacts" app
- Go to the "People" tab and tap the "menu" button depicting three vertical dots
- Select "Manage contacts"
- Tap "Import / Export contacts" and then tap "Import from SIM card"
- Assuming that you have an Exchange ActiveSync or Google account, select the type for the imported contacts
- Select the contacts that you wish to import and tap "Save"
Importing a Contact from an Exchange ActiveSync Account:
- Access the "Contacts" app and go to the "People" tab
- Type in the contact's name or email address in the search box
- Select "Search contacts in your Company Directory"
- Tap the name of the contact that you wish to copy and then tap the "+" button to import it
Copying Contacts from One Account to Another:
- In the "Contacts" app, go to the "People" tab
- Tap the "menu" icon and select "Manage contacts"
- Tap "Copy contacts" and then select the contact type or online account to copy from
- Select the contact type or account you wish to save the contacts to
Creating a Contacts Group:
- Access the "Contacts" app and go to the "Groups tab"
- Tap the "+" icon
- Type in the name of the group and then press the "Menu" icon > "Add contact to group"
- Select the contacts that you wish to be added to the new group, then tap "Save"
- Once the group details are set, tap "Save" again
Editing an Existing Group:
- In the "Contacts" app, go to the "Groups" tab
- Tap and hold the group that you wish to edit, and tap "Edit group"
- Perform the necessary changes and then tap "Save"
