Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Desire 630 to your computer via USB
  2. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen and enable “Media device (MTP)” if necessary
  3. On the computer, open the File Explorer and use it to locate the desired audio files
  4. Copy the files from the computer and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folders
  5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings” and tap “Personalize”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Apply”

Set a Custom Ringtone to a Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “People”
  3. Select the desired contact and tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to use for the contact
  5. Tap “Apply”

Change the Notification Alert:

  1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Scroll to and tap “Sound & Notifications”
  3. Tap “Notification sound”
  4. Tap the notification alert you want to set
  5. Tap “Apply”
