Restore Contacts from the SD Card:
- Make sure the SD card containing the backup file is installed on your phone
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Contacts
- Press Menu > Import / Export
- Select to Import from SD card
- Choose the location where you want to restore the contacts
- Once the phone finishes searching for the vCard backup file, select it to import its contents
Restore Media Files
From a Google Account:
- On the home screen, tap Apps
- Launch Photos
- If necessary, tap Sign in and follow the on-screen instructions to log in with your Google account
- Choose to perform a backup over Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and mobile networks
- Tap Turn on and the phone will automatically sync your media files
From a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Kyocera Hydro Air to your PC via USB
- Swipe the status bar on the home screen and ensure the phone is connected as a Media device (MTP)
- Open an Explorer window on the computer
- Locate the media files backed up on your PC
- Copy the files, and transfer them on your phone storage, preferably in the Media directory
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB
From a Mac Computer:
- Open the Internet browser on your Mac
- Visit https://www.android.com/filetransfer/
- Click to Download Now
- Open androidfiletransfer.dmg on the Mac
- Drag Android File Transfer to Applications
- Establish a USB connection between your Mac and Kyocera Hydro Air
- Make sure the phone is connected as a Media device (MTP)
- Open Android File Transfer on the Mac, and drag > drop the desired files to restore them
