Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the Kyocera device and PC
  2. Swipe the “notification” bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
  3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
  4. On the PC, locate the audio files you want to use for ringtones / notifications
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notification” folders
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via the system tray
  7. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Tap “Phone ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Incoming settings” > “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Tap “Save”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Tap “Sound & notification”
  4. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  5. Select the desired notification sound
