Backing Up Applications:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
- Tap "Backup & reset"
- Mark the check box associated with "Back up my data"
Backing Up Contacts:
- While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
- Tap "Backup & reset" > "LG Backup service"
- Tap "Backup" and select to back up the data on the "Internal storage", "SD Card" or "Cloud"
- Tap "Next" and mark the check box next to "Personal data". Clear the other categories
- Open the "Personal data" directory and make sure that "Contacts" is selected
- Tap "Next"
- Press "Start" and at the "Back up completed" message, tap "Done"
Backing Up Data on the SD Card:
- Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
- Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
- Tap "LG Backup service"
- Tap "Backup" > "SD Card" > "Next"
- Select the items you want to back up and tap "Next"
- To begin the backup process, press "Start". NOTE: the process may take several minutes to complete
- Press "Done" when the "Backup completed" message appears
Backing Up Media Files Using Your Smartphone:
- Access the phone's "Settings" menu
- Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
- Tap "LG Backup service" followed by "Backup"
- Select between "Internal storage", "SD card" or "Cloud" as the backup location
- Tap "Next' and mark the "Media data" check box
- Expand the "Media Data" folder and mark the files you want to back up
- Tap "Next" and press "Start". The process may take several minutes to complete
- Press "Done" at the "Backup completed" message
Backing Up Media Files on a Computer:
- Connect the LG F60 to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, tap "Media sync (MTP)", otherwise enable the option from the notification area
- From the AutoPlay window on the PC, click to browse the phone's folders
- Copy the desired media files from your phone's storage and paste them in the desired backup location on your computer's HDD
- After the transfer is done, click the "Mass Storage Device" icon from the system tray and eject the phone's storage
- It's now safe to disconnect your smartphone from the computer
