Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the LG K4 to your computer via USB
  2. When prompted, select “Media sync (MTP)”, otherwise select this option from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the desired audio files and copy them
  5. Transfer the files and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory, in “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications”
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the Ringtone of All Calls:

  1. Open the “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Sound & notifications”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” in the upper-right corner (the icon shaped like a pencil)
  4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound & notification” > “More”
  3. Tap “Notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK”
