Sync iPhone Contacts With Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the Google account data and contacts with the LG X Power.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account if applicable
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the LG X Power, register the same Google account, and allow it to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on Android.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share with the LG Device
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, perform one of the two steps below:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the LG X Power to your PC via USB, copy the vCard file to the phone storage, and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer, alternatively, you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Ensure the email contains the vCard file attachment
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Next, switch to the LG X Power, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Launch “Contacts” and import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use to transfer your iPhone contacts is Send Anywhere. The app is available for Android and iOS, and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG X Power
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method. Example: you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG X Power’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the LG device and manually enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
