There isn't really a speed dial feature, but you can create a shortcut to a contact that will act like a speed dial. Here's how to do it:

  • Long press on the home screen to bring up the shortcut menu
  • Select Shortcuts
  • Select Contact
  • Select the contact you want
  • You're done!
  • You might want to move the direct dial to another screen to prevent accidentally dialing that person
