Razr Please insert sim card :(

Just got the phone. inserted sim card and it still says Please insert sim card.......

im not sure if i jammed the card too far down or what but ive tried a few different ways and its still not working...
i put it in just like the picture shows.... but it didnt work so i started to slide it down farther and farther will still no luck.


any picture of a sim card installed for the razr?

I hope you didn't damage your sim card. Did you try it back on your previous phone? If you can't manage to insert a sim, get help from your local store. They wouldn't charge for this.

i almost did damage it i had to use finger nail clippers to remove it and almost cut it in half.

Anyways i had put it in over the metal holder instead of inside of it....


heh i was in a hurry to put the card in the phone.
luckily everything works now.... now i just need to find out what my phone number is... lol

Ha ha, I know how it is to goof up. I have done that in moments of hurry or panic.
Do you need help finding your phone # too

first i didn even look at the picture of the sim card i just put it in the wrng ay of course.... then i put it in the right way but over the little metal tab instead of behind it ... lol



i finally found my phone number but have to call and get it changed to a local one . hehe

i have no idea im just posting to get to the $100 mark

Sounds to me like you damaged it (or it was bad to begin with). Have your service provider check it out.
