I was sending a text message, then when I clicked send the screen was blank and there was an hourglass for at least 5 seconds (sand counter), and there was an option to exit. After that delay, I checked sent messages and it said that the message was sent, but I never got a reply from the person. This is the first time an hourglass appears on my cell so I'm wondering what the reason could be and is it 100% that the message was sent, or could it have been an error? Thanks.

I've gotten the hr glass thing in the past...when in doubt send the text again....and I would assume the hr glass means that the cell phone is in the process of doing its function.....lol if I'm wrong sum1 correct me=)

Did you get the delivered report? sometimes it may be due to network congestion, the message would have delivered after sometime.
