Contact Management

Adding a Contact:

  1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
  2. Launch the "People" app
  3. Tap "+" and select the account on which the contact should be saved
  4. Enter the contact's name, phone number and information in the proper fields
  5. When ready, tap "OK"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap and hold an empty space on the home screen
  2. Tap "Widgets"
  3. Browse for and locate the "Direct Dial" widget
  4. Tap and hold the widget and drag > drop it on top of the home screen
  5. Once the contact list or "People" app shows up, select the contact you wish to assign to the Direct Dial widget
  6. You can add multiple contacts to Direct Dial by repeating the previous step
  7. You can also create a Direct Dial folder for shortcuts, by dragging and dropping a new Direct Dial widget on top of the existing one

Importing / Exporting Contacts:

  1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
  2. Launch the "People" application
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  4. Select to "Import from Storage", "Import from SIM card" or to "Export" contacts
  5. Perform any additional steps that may follow
  6. Press "OK" to confirm

Deleting a Contact:

  1. Open the apps drawer and launch "People"
  2. Select the contact you wish to remove
  3. Tap the "Menu" icon and select "Delete"
  4. Tap "OK" to confirm

Managing Caller Groups

Creating a Caller Group:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Go to "People" and access the "Groups" tab
  3. Tap "Add Group"
  4. Enter a name for the group, and optionally, add contacts
  5. Tap "Done"

Adding a Contact to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Open the apps drawer and launch the "People" app
  2. Access the "Groups" section and select the desired group
  3. Press "Menu" and select "Edit"
  4. To add a contact, enter its name in the "Type person's name" field. NOTE: This step can be repeated in order to add multiple contacts
  5. When ready, tap "Done"
