    Sending a Message:

    1. From the Start screen, tap the "Messaging" tile
    2. Tap the "+" button
    3. To add a recipient from your contacts list, tap the "+" button. Otherwise, write the recipient's phone number
    4. To add several recipients, tap "+" > "list" button, select the recipients and tap the check mark button
    5. Tap the "Message" box and write your message
    6. To add an attachment, tap the "Attach" button and select a file
    7. When ready, tap "Send"

    Reading a Message:

    1. Tap the "Messaging" tile
    2. To read a message, select a conversation
    3. To save an attachment, tap the attachment, press the dotted button and tap "Save to phone"

    Deleting Messages:

    • To delete a conversation, tap the "list" button in "threads", select the desired conversation and tap the "trash can" icon
    • To delete all messages on your smartphone, tap the "list" button, press the button depicting three horizontal dots, tap "Select all" and tap the "trash can" icon

    Replying to a Message:

    1. Tap the "Messaging" tile while on the Start screen
    2. In "threads", select the conversation containing the message that you wish to reply to
    3. Tap the message box, then write your message
    4. Tap "Save"

    Sending an Audio Message:

    1. Go to the "messaging app" and start writing your message
    2. Tap the "attach" button and select "Voice note"
    3. Record your message, and tap "done"
    4. Press "Send" when ready

    Using Your Voice to Write a Message:

    Note: in order to be able and use this feature, you need to be connected to the Internet

    1. Tap and hold the "Windows" key on your device
    2. Say "Text" and the contact's name
    3. Speak your message, then follow the audio instructions

    Chatting With Your Friends:

    Note: in order to be able and use this feature, you need a Microsoft account. Then, go to the "Messaging" app, swipe to "online" and follow the on-screen instructions

    1. Tap "Messaging"
    2. Tap "+"
    3. To add a recipient from the contacts list, press "+". Select your friend's chat account to start chatting
    4. Type your message in the message box, then tap "Send"
