You got 4?? Do you have At&t or cingular? The AT&T version comes with two plus the generic At&T wireless hologram on the phone.
@ndres lives in S'pore, and not US. Any way, even if we would be in the US we wouldn't buy AT&T as Cingular has bought them over.
Won't even mind T-mobile.
PS:3200 is a really nice phone.

Anyhow @ndres my brother has been looking to get different holograms for his 3200, which was why I was curious on how you got 4, and do you have a place around there that sells them or online? I've checked attws and nokia's sites but couldn't find any for sale.There may be many people LIKE me, but baby theres only one Eddy Trogen.

Ya that really looks like an advertisment. Me asking a detailed question in a thread devoted to posting information on a phone. Asking how many holograms he got compaired to the ones that come in my phones. And just for your knowledge Cingular hasn't bought AT&T yet. AT&T just accepted Cingulars bid. Its probably not going to happen until the end of this year.

I don't really think they do sell holograms do they?? Cuz they've already given u 4 (3 for u) , white paper to draw on,.... Maybe u could try going to Nokia's web to see if u could print out covers?? Nokia's website over here allowed u to do that but i've just tried to go there again and the link seemed to be down... U could try thoughLast edited by @ndres; 02-24-2004 at 05:47 AM.

EDGE & Modem function
Two comments & details to know about:
EDGE is a new standard for Internet Connectivity on mobile phones. Is a new standard over GPRS. With GPRS you can get connection speed up to 128 Kbits/sec and with EDGE (EDGE Class 10 (4+1, 3+2)) speed up to 236.8 Kbit/s... Very few network operators supports EDGE (some somewhere in East Asia) today. Many comes next months/year.
A network with GPRS support is a 2.5 generation network.
A network with EDGE support is a 2.75 generation network.
All these are new features/functions of the GSM network until new generation networks (UTMS / 3G(eneration) networks).
Nokia 3200 is very powerful at its connection options.
Supports all the known today standards:
- EDGE
- GPRS Class 10 (4+1, 3+2)
- HSCSD (High-Speed Circuit-Switched Data)
- CSD (Circuit-Switched Data)
but WARNING..!!! You canNOT use it as a modem device with your PDA / LAPTOP / PC...!!! These connection options are helpful only to use them with its WAP browser & network-enabled Java applications. You canNOT have an internet connection for your PDA/PC with this mobile phone as you could with more professional model-series of Nokia as 7210, 6610 etc...

I wonder if anyone else noticed this in their Nokia 3200?
1)
Set you phone to Silent profile with
"Incoming call alert" = Off
"Vibrating alert" = On
Now turn on the radio and try to receive a call and after that see what happens??? The volume control using left/right navigation keys hangs up and phone needs a restart for it to work again.
Same thing happens in any other profile if above two settings are set.
2) If you have about 150kb memory left in your phone and you try to record voice or take pictures in high resoultion, the phone hangs or it takes a lot of time to save the file.
Are there any firmware upgrades released by Nokia for this issues?
My firmware version is (*#0000#)

I've heard that the only difference between 3200 and 3200B is the frequency band.
3200 = 900MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz
3200B = 850MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz
I guess they have also corrected bugs in 3200b since you haven't noticed one.Last edited by N3200; 05-02-2004 at 07:10 AM.
