No it can't be upgraded but there are relatively few differences, so don't feel bad.

sell it on ebay! someone will buy it not realizing that they can get a more updated phone brand new for the same price or even less. Thats what me and my boys do all the time. put a reserve price and people hungry enough will more then the should.

Yep,... main difference would be the zoom function and xHTML browser......
also picture editor but it's not really that good,....

i don't like it because it tries to load it like you're on the computer and it's really hard to navigate

Nokia are smart. They first release a model (7250) with just the barebones and then release another model (7250i) and claim it to have improved functions over the old one. The i is what the normal one should have been. Take another one. What is the difference between 7210, 6610,6200, 6100, 5100, and even 3100. Nothing! ok the 3100 does not have iR. Then? no other major difference. All are minor cosmetic differences. Even the 6600 is not spared. They are launching a new one 6620 with EDGE + 6600.
In this case, some minor manufacturers are MUCH better.

Yeah,.. Sony Ericcson did that for T68 and T68i as well,.... unless there's a relatively large difference ( like in colour or video recorder) i wouldn't really want to change to the new version... eg. 7250/7250i...

i had the t68i (have nokia 7250i now, but i bought those first, never had the without i ones) and i'm pretty sure the t68 didn't function with the communi-cam, and there were some other major things i seem to recall. so that one wasn't quite the same thing.

Every manufacturer does it. They think that they can fool the consumer. Hey, what about samsung, did they do anything like this?

They say that 7250i has a better camera, ie it can take better picture quality than the original phone, not zoom features.
It also has photo caller id(not that great, but good none the less.)
What you lookin' here for ehhh?

photo caller id is good, but it was way better on my sony ericsson T68i because it like took up the whole screen with the picture and on my 7250i it shows a tiny little picture in the corner.

don't hate on zoom, it's very useful. And the camera's not that great, it's only CIF. better than nothing tho

CIF cam's fine for casual taking,... A VGA cam on a 128x128 screen with 4k colour wouldn't be alot much better,.... There's nothing wrong with zoom,.... it's just that i don't really use the zoom function in my fone ,....
