BlackBerry Bold 9780 red led light always on!

My blackberry bold 9780's led light is always on red. I cant seem to get the light to turn off. I have tried a battery pull multiple times yet that has not worked. I have looked through settings but cant seem to find anything to turn off the led. The phone has no water damage and functions 100%. The red led light is just annoying always being on. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so did you get it fixed?

Do you have any applications installed that modify the led indicator light?

If not try pulling the battery and leaving it out for a good couple minutes.

i love my blackberry, and i had this problem. i took it to my service provider and they were able to just pull out the battery (which i had done countless times before and told them so) and it still didn't work. then they suggested resetting the whole system, which means i lost all my emails, ring tones changes and texts etc and it was like i was getting it new. but it worked, so maybe try that ?

may be it happening bcos of virus just restore ur all things in ur pc n do format it.. thn chk. i hope it works..

My partner had the same problem however after installing latest 4.5 beta, found out what the cause was, it was ColorPearl that was causing the red light cause it's not compatible with the 4.5 OS. Try disabling ColorPearl and turning the BlackBerry off and on again, You should not have any more problems with the red light.
