Create a New Contact:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Contacts”
  3. Tap the “New contact” icon depicting a “+”
  4. Select the account with which you want to sync the contact, or choose a different storage location
  5. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and other details in the appropriate fields
  6. Tap “Done” to confirm

Import Contacts:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap “Menu”
  4. Go to “Import / Export” and select “Import from SIM” or a different location
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the process

Export Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Import / Export”
  4. Select to “Export to storage” or a different location

Assign a Contact to Favorites:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Select the desired contact and tap the “Star” icon associated with it to add the contact to the list of favorites

Assign a Contact to Speed Dial via Direct Dial Widget:

  1. On the home screen, tap and hold an empty area
  2. Go to “Widgets”
  3. Tap and hold the “Direct Dial” widget and drag > drop it in an empty area on the home screen
  4. At the prompt, select the contact you want to associate with the Direct Dial widget

NOTE: You can add multiple Direct Dial widgets on the home screen by repeating the same steps above. In addition, you can organize widgets in folders on the home screen. To create widget folders, drag a Direct Dial widget and drop it on top of another one.

Deleting Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the contact you want to remove
  3. Tap the “Trash can” icon

Create a Caller Group:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Go to “Groups”
  4. Tap the “New Group” icon at the bottom
  5. Select an account to sync the group with
  6. Enter the group’s name in the proper field, and optionally, add contacts to the group
  7. When you’re ready to save the contact tap “Done”

Assign Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Access “Groups”
  3. Tap the desired group
  4. Tap “Edit” > “+”
  5. Select the contacts you want to add to the group
  6. Tap “Done” to confirm
